Passed away peacefully at Almonte Country Haven, Almonte, ON, August 5th, 2015.

In her 86th year. Formerly of Ottawa/Nepean, ON, and resident of Carleton Place since 1983.
Survived by children Paula and Scott. Predeceased by parents Harry and Violet, sister Dorothy and brother Douglas. A loving kind person who cared deeply for her children and pets. She had a very creative mind mastering many arts and crafts, she loved to sew and generously shared her garden with all admirers. Muriel’s legacy will be the seeds she sewed into the fabric of her children’s hearts who will miss her dearly and will always appreciate her gifts of life left with them to endure forever onwards. Her final rest was by cremation on the day of her passing with no visitation or formal service.
