Passed peacefully at the Almonte General Hospital, on March 1st, 2016. Survived by his loving wife Kathleen (Owens), children Michel (Leanne McNevan) and Kristen (Ben Cowan) and his grandchildren Jacob, Max and Kate. John is also survived by his siblings William (Charlotte), Russell (the late Charlotte), Kay (Rolly) and Jean (Stuart) and sister in law, Margaret. Loved brother- in-law of Joan Linnsenmeier, Margaret and Wallace Loughead and dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Harold and Muriel (Baird) Lesway and brother Gerald.

On March 7th, 2016 from 12-2pm, followed promptly by a Funeral Service at the Almonte Presbyterian Church (111 Church St., Almonte, ON.) with a reception to be held after in the church hall.
