Blakeney Rapids birds-eye

by Brent Eades

I took the drone out yesterday morning and got a couple of interesting shots of the Blakeney Rapids area. This was shortly before I headed to Pakenham, where the car promptly broke down.

Anyway, the friendly folks from Apple Hill Towing in Carleton Place came and rescued me, after first trying to save me the money by troubleshooting over the phone — no joy. They dropped the car and me off with the Blackburn brothers, who I’m sure will have me fixed up tomorrow. (Best guess at this point is a fried starter.)

UPDATE: It was the starter, and Blackburn’s had me back on the road tout de suite.
