The Millstone reminds readers of the Almonte all-candidates meeting beginning at 7 pm tonight, October 9, at the Old Town Hall.
Hosted by the TYPS youth centre, the meeting will have two Q&A segments, one for Mayoral candidates and one for Almonte Ward Council candidates. The Councillors will be first, which will allow the Mayoral candidates to have the last words of the evening. During the Question & Answer period, priority will be given to oral questions from the floor. Questions may be directed to a particular candidate; however, the Moderator will give all candidates a chance to answer each question.

IMPORTANT NOTE: A rumour is apparently circulating that the meeting has been moved to the Civitan Hall. This is not correct. The meeting takes places at Old Town Hall as scheduled.
