Samhain time is upon us and Ninth Wave Arts is celebrating with it’s seasonal Artisan Market and Celebration! Happy Halloween!
Come join us from 11am to 4pm on Saturday October 28!
Not only are we celebrating the season, but we are also celebrating our new space on the land at Carp Ridge EcoWellness Centre. We are having an open house during the market, so you can come take a peek and see what we’re up to! We are also renewing our web presence, so stay tuned! Many programs will be unfurling in the coming days!
Join us at the market for a tea and a walk amongst the trees. We have a magical collection of incredible vendors. Come meet them and explore their offerings: candles and crystals, art and herbs, linen and clay creations, jewelry and leather, and much much more. Bring the family, listen to some music, visit our crafting area to make a halloween mask and enjoy the day!
Samhain (a Gaelic word pronounced “sow-win”) originates from the ancient Celtic traditions and welcomes in the harvest while also honouring “the dark half of the year.” It’s considered a time where the space between the ordinary and non-ordinary worlds becomes more present. It’s a beautiful time to acknowledge all beings and the energies of nature.
Ninth Wave Arts is a not-for-profit with a mission to offer educational opportunities to remember and reclaim Folk Wisdom and Folk Arts. We aim to inspire wellness, creativity, community, and connection to nature. Come on out and say hello!
Please arrive at 2386 Thomas Dolan entrance to park, the vendors are a short walk away through the trees.
We hope to see you there!
