Passed away quietly and peacefully with his family by his side on March 19, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love.
He was born on October 7, 1951 in Chatham, Ontario, to Duncan Grant Forsyth and Ida May McGregor. He lived a life defined by kindness, strength, humor and devotion to his family.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife Joan, children Nathan, Katie (Erica), and Derrick (Tina), and his grandchildren Cayden and Jas. His sister-in-law Judy and niece Jillian Catton and his extended family and dear friends. Predeceased by his parents Grant and Ida May and his son Joel.
Blake built an amazing career as a Senior Field Manager of the Central East Office with the Emergency Health Services. He was respected for his dedication, integrity, leadership and took great pride in his work alongside a great team and colleagues.
A Catholic Prayer Service will be held at Holy Name of Mary Parish, Almonte, on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 11am
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Ontario Cancer Society.
