Bucky Warren — obituary

Warren, Robert Eric “Bucky”

A husband, a father, a grandfather, a friend, and an amazing father in law.

Passed away suddenly at the Almonte General Hospital with his loving wife by his side on June15, 2026.

Husband for 37 years to Sheila (nee McCartney).  Missed by his children Tony (Carly), Chris (Reva), and Jenna (Jay).   Proud “Pa” to Blair, Luke, Harper, Corbin, Hallie, Jackson, Addison, Leah and one more on the way.

Sadly missed by Nikita (dog) and Wayne (cat).

He was the kind of person you don’t come across very often. He was one of the hardest working people you’ve ever known. No matter what the job was, he gave it everything he had. He believed in earning what you had, keeping your word, and doing things the right way.

He also had a sense of humor that could light up a room. He loved to joke around, make people laugh, and keep things from getting too serious.

Anyone who knew him also knew he could be stubborn. Once his mind was made up, there wasn’t much changing it. But that stubbornness came from his strength, his determination, and his unwavering loyalty to the people and things he cared about.

One thing that always stood out to us was how willing he was to help anyone. If you needed a hand, he was there. He didn’t ask for recognition or expect anything in return. Helping others was simply who he was.

And if he wasn’t working, helping someone, or sitting across from the love of his life in his chair at home, there was a good chance he was out hunting. Hunting wasn’t just a hobby for him, it was something he genuinely loved.

His absence leaves a hole that can’t be filled, but his legacy lives on in his family, his friends, and everyone whose life he touched. Every lesson he taught, every laugh he shared, every helping hand he offered, that’s how we’ll remember him.

Rest easy. We’ll carry your memory with us always.

Donations in memory of Bucky may be made to the Almonte General Hospital Fairview Manor Foundation.

A very big thank you to Dr. Tiffany and staff from the Almonte General Hospital for their care and support .
