Help Almonte’s Old Post Office receive some much needed restorative work!
The National Trust of Canada is running a contest called This Place Matters – Main Streets. The grand prize is $40,000. Michael Rikley-Lancaster, Ron Caron and some other volunteers submitted an application.
The Old Post Office Clock Tower project was chosen as one of only 10 finalists across Canada.
How to support this
Winners are chosen by votes from the public. People can vote every day, once a day. There is also a crowdfunding element — any money donated counts as $1 per vote, $20 = 20 votes. This is a great promotional opportunity either way – but it sure would be nice to win.
