1926-2025

Peacefully and surrounded by his family at The Almonte General Hospital Rosamond Unit on Sunday January 19, 2025 in his 99th year.

Beloved husband of the late Dorene (nee Lancaster). Loving devoted father to the late Allan (Dorothy) Brydges, Glen (Elaine) Brydges and Gail (Harvey) Hill. Very proud Grandpa to Ashley (Ruthanne) Brydges, the Late Jeremy Brydges, Andrew (Christine) Brydges, Trish (Jamie) Shantz, Derrick (Karen) Hill, Tracey (Keith) Wale, Brent Brydges (Jenn). Fondly remembered by his Great Grandchildren, Caleb Brydges, Owen Brydges, Jacob Hill, Cole Hill, Aiden Wale, Aurora Wale. Survived by sister Grace (late Sterling) Howie. Predeceased by Beloved twin brother Keith (Mary) Brydges, Katherine (Francis) Gardiner, Isabelle (Carman) James, Mary (Armer) Howie, Marian (Graham) Armstrong, Cecil (Shirley) Brydges, Edith (John)Campebll, Ivan Brydges, Robert Brydges, Gordon Brydges. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Wednesday January 22, 2025 between 2-4 and 6-8pm. Funeral service will be held on Thursday January 23, 2025 at St. James Anglican Church, Carp at 11:00 am with reception to follow at Carp Agricultural Hall. Spring interment at St. Mark’s Cemetery, Pakenham.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Almonte General Hospital or to St. John’s Anglican church Huntley, would be appreciated.
