Nadine Sculland at the Chambers and Corridor Galleries

maple run 2012 Nadine Sculland’s work is being shown in the glass cabinets at the Chambers Gallery, 3131 Old Perth Road, Mississippi Mills Admin. Building Almonte from Wednesday, January 14, 2015 to Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015 and at the Corridor Gallery, Mississippi Mills Public Library, 155 High Street, Almonte from Tuesday, Feb. 10 to Tues., March 10, 2015.

Nadine can’t imagine not sewing with so many interesting quilt books, patterns and fabrics the inspirations are endless…but her time isn’t that is why she creates miniature versions of large quilts.  They are  framed to make them into pieces of artwork worthy of hanging on the wall. Nadine started quilting in the 80’s when quilting regained its popularity. She has managed to acquire several awards for both large quilts and her unique miniatures.  Nadine participates in the Maple Run Studio Tour, Art in the Attic, Mississippi Mills Textile Museum’s Fibrefest and Christmas in the Valley Artisan Show where you will find her miniature quilts displayed.  To view more of these visual gems please visit www.miniaturequiltsandmore.blogspot.com
A display of miniatures will be at  St.Marks’s Church at The Pakenham Maple Run Studio Tour taking place on March 21-22nd www.mapleruntour.ca
