Police ask public's help concerning fatal accident on Highway 7

Police have identified the body of an accident victim discovered on Highway 7 near Innisville as Benjamin Rogers, an 18 year old resident of Tay Valley Township. Lanark OPP officers discovered the body of Mr. Rogers on July 23, 2011 at approximately 3:30 a.m. They believe he may have been struck by a large vehicle, possibly a transport truck.

Lanark County OPP would like to speak with anyone who was traveling on Highway 7 near Innisville (located between Perth and Carleton Place) between 2:00am and 3:00am on Saturday, July 23, 2011.
