In 1901 the first worship service was held in St. George’s Anglican Church in Clayton. Since then, St George’s has continued to welcome the community with open hearts, open minds and open doors.
We are deeply honoured and pleased to announce that the newly seated 11th Bishop of the Diocese of Ottawa, The Right Reverend Kathryn A. Otley, will be presiding at our special 125th Anniversary Service beginning at 2pm on Sunday, September 13th. A reception with refreshments and fellowship will follow the service.
All parishioners, past members, clergy and friends are invited to join us in celebrating St George’s rich history together with our future, while we continue our faith journey as a visible and spirit filled sign of God’s presence in the village of Clayton and the wider community.
