Peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at the age of 55. Loving wife of Wayne for 34 years and his soulmate for 41 years. Cherished mother to Jennifer Greyling (Joel), Derrick and Matthew (friend Michelle). Proud Nana of the late Lydia Marie and Ella Ruth, William, Bella and the late Ava Donn. Dear sister of Joann Thorpe (Ian), Debbie (Arden Sonnenburg),Patricia Argue (Fred), twin sister Ann Thompson (Ray) and Bill. Second mother to Leann and Lisa (Mike), survived by sister-in-law Judy Spencer and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Bill and Jenny and by brother Bruce Spencer. Friends may pay their respects at the Almonte Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 154 Elgin Street, Almonte, on Saturday, March 22, 2014 from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Sunday at 2 p.m Cremation with burial at a later date.
