Re: MM2020 Clayton Working Group
As far as our personal need for better service, we do primarily work from home, and our providers have limitations which cause challenges in the office.
I took my laptop into Almonte, only 15 km away, to compare:
- Clayton download speed 3.40 mbps
- Almonte download speed 135.59 mbps
- Clayton upload speed .84 mbps
- Almonte upload speed 11.03
Cell service spotty and non-existent in the village.
The area desperately needs upgrading. We urge Clayton area residents to visit www.claytonontario.ca and complete the survey, or visit the Clayton General Store and fill in a hard copy.
