MISSISSIPPI MILLS, ON – On October 5 2013 at approximately 9:40 am the Lanark County OPP received a report of a single-vehicle collision on Wolf Grove Road between Old Union Hall Road and Concession 8 of Ramsay.

A black 2003 Oldsmobile Alero was travelling on Wolf Grove Road when it left the roadway and hit a rock face.  The vehicle then rolled over onto its roof and caught fire.

The occupants were able to get out of the vehicle and the Mississippi Mills Fire Department attended to assist the injured and put out the fire.  The three occupants were transported to Almonte Hospital by ambulance.

The front passenger, a 24-year-old male, and the 29-year-old female driver were later airlifted to Ottawa Hospital–Civic Campus with serious injuries.  The rear passenger, a 30-year-old male, sustained minor injuries and was later released from hospital.

Wolf Grove Road was closed while OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators examined the scene.  It was reopened at 2:20 pm.

Alcohol is involved and the investigation is continuing.
