Yard of the Week: Al and Toby Barratt

Mississippi Mills Yard of the Week is sponsored by the Almonte and District Horticultural Society.

This week’s Yard of the Week belongs to Al and Toby Barratt at 210 Waba Road, Pakenham. Toby has mastered the art of perennial gardening, with something always in bloom along the fence that runs along the southern border of their property.

She also has created a lovely perennial bed along the side of the garage, with roses, lilies, peonies along with whimsical garden art. They have a small vegetable bed and actively compost and mulch in both the perennial and veggie beds.
