Featuring the following talented performers:

Pierre Brault
Pierre has over fifty years of performing experience, which is amazing for a guy in his early forties. He’s worked clubs and theatres from Vancouver to St. Johns, from Dublin to Melbourne and beyond, his eye catches things others miss and his tongue utters what others think using words no one can pronounce. Whether walking to Tim Horton’s or swimming a beach in Vietnam, Pierre’s international perspective brings it all home.

Mike Beatty
Clever, offbeat, funny. Mike has performed coast-to-coast spreading his skewed world view. He has been featured on CTV’s Comedy Now, and has appeared at the Just for Laffs Festival. He can also be heard on XM’s Laugh Attack, and CBC radio’s Definitely Not The Opera., Madly Off In All Directions, and The Debaters.

Geoff MacKay
Geoff MacKay’s cerebral, sometimes hilarious, always hysterical material has made him a fixture on the Ottawa comedy scene since 2004. He avoids traditional comedy topics but finds absurdity in toasters, math textbooks, and skydiving. He has performed across Canada, the UK, the Culturally Divided States of America and a headlining tour in China.
In 2009 he was handpicked by “Everyday Normal Guy” Jon Lajoie to open his shows at the legendary Cobb’s Comedy club in San Francisco.

…With possible special guest – the man putting the show together for us – Rick Currie! Rick will come out for our show if he can get away from the heavy production schedule writing for the Rick Mercer Report. He’s gonna try. 🙂

Rick Currie
Rick Currie has been making Canadians laugh for over two decades now. If you haven’t seen his stand up live, you’ve probably heard many of the jokes he’s written for different CBC Radio programs including “Madly off In all Directions”, “DNTO” and “The Debaters”. Rick is currently a member of the writing team for CBC’s “The Rick Mercer Report”.
He’s has been showcased at the Just for Laughs, Winnipeg, St. John and Halifax Comedy Festivals.

“An utterly splendid performance… a pleasure to watch.”
Emer O’Kelly, The Sunday Independent (Ireland)

“Brault is by turns charming, mischievous, bombastic, amusing, earnest, touching . . . I’ve run out of adjectives.”
Connie Meng, North Country Public Radio

“Pierre Brault ‘s a one man hurricane…a towering performance… Excellent.”
Tom McSorley, CBC Radio

“An impressive range of accents and caricatures…”
Kate Taylor, The Globe & Mail
