Solve a mystery, help the Friends of the Mississippi Mills Public Library

A unique interactive upcycled art experience similar to an escape room game in that there are clues to be discovered and solved but you won’t be running around or locked in. The game has a steam punkish vibe and can virtually be played sitting down.  Unique as the clues in the game have been created by upcycling components (stuff) from the Civitan monthly auctions, garage sales and the Hub, who knows, you might be playing with some of your old possessions!

The scenario:

Your uncle’s lawyer has summoned you and all those receiving inheritances from your late Uncle WEGs estate to a meeting tonight.

The trouble is you don’t have an Uncle WEG. The lawyer however was quite insistent that you should come and that there was a lot at stake! More than you ever could have thought possible.

When you arrive things are not quite as they seem… What have you gotten yourself into?

This experience runs from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 26 in the large meeting room of the Almonte branch of the Library. This event requires registration at the main circulation desk only and tickets are $25.00 each.

All proceeds will be donated to the Friends of the Mississippi Mills Public Library.
