Pierce, Gerald “Gerry”
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Gerry in hospital in Perth on Thursday February 5, 2026. He was 68 years old.
Gerry was born in Almonte on Dec. 2, 1957 to Lyle and Florence (Morrow) Pierce. He lived and attended school in Almonte and then attended Kemptville College.
Growing up he spent a great deal of time helping on his grandfather’s farm near Pakenham. He loved the outdoors and peaceful country life. Gerry was a quiet man. He enjoyed gardening and cooking. He was a carpenter and farmer throughout his lifetime.
Left to mourn are his loved son Derek (Robyn) and granddaughters Brooke and Everly.
Gerry was predeceased by his beloved wife Carolyn “Sue” Christie and their dog Livie. He was predeceased by his parents and infant brother “JR”.
He will be sadly missed by his siblings Gwenn (Stephen) Ross, Tom (Yvonne) Pierce, and Joan Pierce as well as his nephews and nieces Ryan Pierce, Matthew Ross, Lorraine Ross, and Sarah (Karol) Thomas.
Gerry will be remembered by the extended family and his friends.
