OPP looking for driver and vehicle

The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a fail to remain motor vehicle collision that occurred during the early morning hours on April 21, 2012 in the Town of Carleton Place.

The accident occurred in the driveway of a residence on William Street where a suspect vehicle struck an unattended black Honda car parked in the driveway. The suspect vehicle and driver failed to remain at the scene and fled the area following the collision.

The suspect vehicle is believed to be a grey 2006 to 2008 Volkswagen Jetta, which as a result of the collision, had three quarters of its rear bumper torn off and was recovered at the scene.
