February 5, 1961 – May 6, 2026
Suddenly at Bonnechere Manor, Renfrew on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, Robert died at the age of 65. Beloved son of Marilyn (née Robertson) and her late husband Earle. Survived by his siblings -Ken and his daughter Mackenzie, Debbie & Darren Hutchinson, Ray and Judith (Proulx) and their children Nicolas and Alexie. Also his aunt Marion (late Sandy), Beth & Brian Keating and many cousins.
Robert suffered many setbacks in his last years but was happy to get his first Old Age Pension cheque and to have his friends, neighbours and cousins help him celebrate turning 65.
Special thanks to the staff at Bonnechere Manor who gave him such good care in the last 2 years and to those at St. Vincent’s for 2 years before that.
Friends may call at the C.R. Gamble Funeral Home & Chapel at 127 Church Street, Almonte ON on Tuesday June 2 with visitation from 9 to 11 am, service at 11 and reception at noon. Burial will follow at the Auld Kirk Cemetery.
