
There’s something for everyone at the 55+ Expo in Carleton Place
The community is invited to attend the upcoming 55+ Expo, a free event dedicated to celebrating and supporting adults aged 55 and older through information, connection, and community engagement.
Hosted by the Town of Carleton Place and Home Hospice North Lanark, the Expo will take place on Thursday, June 4, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Carleton Place Arena.
The 55+ Expo offers visitors an opportunity to explore local services, discover practical resources, and connect with organizations that support healthy, active, and independent living.

Throughout the day, attendees will find information and inspiration focused on three key themes:
- Your Health — wellness, nutrition, fitness, and care
- Your Home — safety, comfort, and support for aging in place
- Your Community — social connection, services, and community engagement
Visitors can also attend a series of short presentations on topics important to the 55+ community.

A Free Gift for Early Visitors
Arrive early for a little something special. Complimentary tote bags will be available to visitors while supplies last — perfect for collecting information and materials throughout the Expo.
The Expo will also feature complimentary coffee from Dark and Deadly Café between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
Attendees are encouraged to support the Carleton Place and District Civitan Club, who will be hosting a delicious BBQ lunch! On the menu will be hamburgers, hotdogs, snacks and drinks.
The event will bring together a wide range of exhibitors and community organizations, including health and wellness providers, retirement and housing services, community support agencies, emergency services, social clubs, and advocacy organizations.
