THE TAFFETAS is being presented by DFT Productions, which is a new company to Almonte. This show features local talent both on and off stage. The company was founded by Elaine McCausland who has over 30 years of experience producing musical theatre. The show runs July 30 – August 2 at the Almonte Old Town Hall. THE TAFFETAS is a 1950s-themed musical revue that premiered Off-Broadway at The Cherry Lane Theatre in August 1988, running for 165 performances. The show follows four singing sisters—Kaye, Peggy, Cheryl, and Donna—seeking their big break on a national television talent show.
