July 20 was a lovely evening and the members of the Almonte Lawn Bowling Club came together for this year’s Rolling for the Cure. The generosity and community spirit on display were truly inspiring!
We were also honoured to host a very special bowl, sponsored by Aero Bowls Canada, that is travelling across Canada in support of this incredible fundraising initiative. We were thrilled that it arrived in Almonte in time for last night’s event, making our evening even more meaningful.
Thanks to the incredible support of more than 70 members, our club proudly raised $1,020 for the Canadian Cancer Society, with every dollar dedicated to advancing breast cancer research.
A sincere thank you to everyone who participated, donated, volunteered, and helped make the evening such a tremendous success. Together, we’re doing more than enjoying a great night of lawn bowling — we’re helping make a real difference in the fight against breast cancer.
