This October, Home Hospice North Lanark (HHNL) is inviting community members to lace up their hiking boots and take part in Hike for Hospice, a month-long fundraising campaign supporting compassionate hospice care for individuals and families throughout the community.
Every step and every donation helps HHNL continue providing comfort, compassion, advocacy, and support to people facing life-limiting illness at no cost to families.
There are three ways community members can get involved:
- Become a Sponsor
Local businesses and organizations can help make Hike for Hospice possible by becoming a sponsor while demonstrating their commitment to compassionate care in our community. For sponsorship information, contact communications@hhnl.ca
- Register a Team or Participate as an Individual
Participants can register as a team or individually and choose their own favourite trail, distance, and time to hike. Participants are encouraged to get outside and hike anytime throughout the month of October.
- Host a Hike with Family and Friends
Bring together family, friends, neighbours, or coworkers for your own hike. Enjoy the beauty of the fall season while raising funds and awareness for hospice care in our community.
“Hike. Donate. Make an impact.”
HHNL encourages everyone to participate in whatever way works best for them. Whether you organize a group hike, walk a favourite trail on your own, or make a donation, your support helps ensure local individuals and families can access the compassionate care and support they need.
