Passed away peacefully with family by his side on September 12, 2026.

Of Corkery, Ontario. At the age of 78.
Missed by his siblings Joanne Sample and Isaac Sample and nieces and nephews Shannon Reading (John), Shaun (Justine), Geoffrey (Ana), Sonya Ireton (Matt), Jason Morrow, Brody Folkard (Gillian) as well as many great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents James and Evelyn Sample and brothers Johnny and Maurice. Remembered by his extended family and many friends.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Michael’s Parish in Corkery, Ontario, on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at 11am. Inurnment in the Parish Cemetery with reception to follow.
