We can only hope that Ultramar consents to make changes as required by MM Council. As it stands at the moment the price of gasoline in Almonte is, more often than not, anywhere from six to ten cents more expensive than it is in Carleton Place. If we had some competition, as they do in C.P., prices would more likely be in sync with C.P. Scores of residents from here drive the extra few miles to get cheaper gas thus taking away other business from M.M.
