On Tuesday evening, August 25th, we had a chance to present in front of council to discuss the spreading of municipal waste on agricultural land bordering the Indian River. There was a large turnout, filling the council chamber and spilling into the outer room.
We covered a range of topics, including the function of the Wastewater Treatment Plant in Mississippi Mills in order to inform the public on what processes the solid waste goes through before being applied to the land and what toxins it may contain.
