Many thanks to all those who responded to my article in the Millstone last month on helping a new Syrian refugee family settle in Almonte. A number of generous individuals made financial donations while others provided information and ideas on potential sources of assistance and employment.
The father is still looking for full-time work, so any specific leads on opportunities would be welcomed.
