Almonte Community Friendship Luncheons will be starting up again on Tuesday September 15th, at noon in the social hall of Almonte United Church.
A light lunch of sandwiches, soup and homemade desserts will be served. The cost is $10 a person.
Volunteers from our local churches and the community at large, work together to present these lunches.
From when these lunches first began 50 decades ago, all money left after expenses, is donated back to our community.
Over the years our Hospital, the Christmas hampers, the local food bank and the healthy snack programs in our schools have received generous donations.

These luncheons are held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month beginning in September, with no luncheon in December, then continuing again for the months of January through May for a total of 8 months.
