Nancy Higham is a local author who has resided in Carleton Place since 1981.
She has released her first children’s book, called The School Mice, and it will be the first in a series of five books.
The book is now available at Mill Street Books in Almonte and at Reads Book Store in Carleton Place.
The School Mice and The Christmas Project will be available the first week of December.
