BURKE, Marjory Theresa

Peacefully in her 89th year at the Houses of Providence Long Term Care, Toronto. Predeceased by her parents Herbert and Mary Burke, her siblings, Herbert (1982), Sheila Bissessar (1993) (Dr. Rammaraise (2014), the Most Rev. Lawrence Burke S.J. (2010) and nephew Benjamin De Luca. (2015). Survived by her sisters, Barbara Burke and Cynthia Stewart (George). Loving Aunt of Stephen and Anthony Bissessar, Michael Stewart (Julie) and nieces Sharon Philbrick (Michael) and Jennifer (Sylvio DeLuca); their children Matthew and Sophie Stewart, Mackenzie and Meagan Philbrick, Jacob and Madeline De Luca. Marjory migrated from St. Andrew, Jamaica to Toronto in 1979 where she worked until retirement in 1995 as an Executive Secretary at the Head Office of Scotiabank.
Friends are welcome to join the family at a Memorial Mass, conducted by His Grace, the Most Reverend Terrance Prendergast S.J. at Holy Name of Mary Church. Almonte on Saturday, December 29nd at 10 a.m.
