I found these fascinating photos of the area around Pakenham’s Five-Span Bridge on the Facebook group called ‘Lost Ottawa’. They’re from Library and Archives Canada and were apparently taken around 1910.
Many of the buildings by the bridge have long since vanished — do readers have information about what they were?
