A place to feel calm

So many of us find our calm and inspiration from time spent outside, sitting by our river or in our gardens, or walking the trails; we are very fortunate to have many beautiful places around Almonte.

And there are many reasons, both personal and communal, to carve out a window to be peaceful.

If the out of doors is daunting for you this winter, (and even if it isn’t) St Paul’s Anglican church is opening its sanctuary on Tuesday morning for folks to sit in a beautiful place and be quiet.

It’s a place where you can read, or journal (there are tables as well as chairs), or meditate. You are welcome to light a candle or sketch or just sit and enjoy the light coming in through the windows with your coffee. On Tuesdays from 10am-12, from now through May, the church will be open and you are welcome.
