1. Doug and the Slugs was a popular Canadian rock band formed in Vancouver in the 70’s and 80s with top 40 hits such as ‘Too Bad’ and ‘Making it Work’.

5. Canada’s Minister of Indigenous Services is the Hon. Mandy Gull-Masty, the first indigenous person to hold this ministry. She began her political career in 2014 after being elected Deputy Chief of the Cree Nation of Waswanipi, followed by being elected as Chief of the Grand Council of the Crees, the first woman to hold his position.
