We are an Almonte family of four, looking to purchase a country property. We are more interested in beautiful land than a fancy home. We seek a 3+ bedroom, 2+ bathroom home, ideally a bungalow or 2-story in good repair. We would like aging parents to be able to stay and visit for years to come and so no split-level or high-ranch thanks. We imagine an inviting home that lends itself to gatherings and togetherness. We dream of 10+ acres, some maple hardwood forest, and usable land for walking, gardening and exploring…making some maple syrup would be a bonus! Outbuildings for animals or bunkies for sleepouts or hobbies would be fun as well! Ideally no more than 15 minutes west, north or east of Almonte.
