Calliope women’s choir springs into song Sunday April 27 at 3pm at St. Andrew’s, Pakenham.
Calliope is the Ottawa Valley’s newest women’s choir with singers from all over the region including Almonte, Arnprior, Pakenham, Renfrew and more. Come enjoy a concert of beautiful music celebrating spring! From quiet acapella and nostalgic ballads to catchy Robby Burns songs via lively odes to gardening, red-winged black birds and even a Canadian rivers tongue twister, the program is sure to capture the imagination and get your toes tapping! Guest soprano Olivia Smart rounds out this perfect Sunday afternoon program. Sunday April 27, at 3pm at St. Andrews church, 2585 County Road 29, Pakenham, freewill offering gratefully received.
