Celebrate the Christmas season with Calliope women’s choir Saturday December 13 at 2pm at St. Andrew’s in Pakenham.
Calliope is an Ottawa Valley women’s choir with singers from all over the region including Arnprior, Almonte, Pakenham, Renfrew and more. Come enjoy a concert of beautiful music celebrating winter and the holiday season!
From John Rutter’s Christmas Lullaby, Mark Sirett’s Hodie Alleluia and Gordon Lightfoot’s Song a for A Winter’s Night to favourites like Good King Wenceslas, moving acapella pieces and ballads at times accompanied on the violin by Robyn Lichaa, the program is sure to capture the imagination and get you into the holiday spirit! Guest mezzo-soprano Danielle Vaillancourt rounds out this perfect Saturday afternoon program.
