2014 Herederos Del Marques de Riscal, Rueda Spain ($12.60 – LCBO 36822)
This clear straw coloured white wine from the Rueda region in Spain is made with 100% Verdejo grapes. It has floral aromas with some herbaceous notes and flavours of stone fruit with a smooth almost oily type texture that lasts through out the medium finish. Try this wine with poultry or seafood hors d’oeuvres.

Rodney Strong Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley, California ($21.95 – (on sale) LCBO 954834)
A smooth Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley known for this type of wine. Plum flavours, some spice and a medium to long dark fruit flavour with soft tannins in this medium bodied Pinot. This wine will pair well with a glazed ham or tourtiere.

2011 Torres Gran Coronas Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva, Penedes Spain ($17.95 (on sale) – LCBO 36483)
This is a great wine to bring to a party, give to the host or wrap it up as a present! An elegant dark red Cabernet Sauvignon/Tempranillo with rich flavours of plum, spice and an almost jam like finish with smooth refined tannins. Serve it with prime rib or a selection of sharp cheese.
