Peacefully with her family at her side at the Almonte General Hospital on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Gary for 40 years. Loving mother of Trisha (Rod) Stoddart and Sean (Tracy) O’Keefe. Very proud grandmother of Rachel and Taylor. Dear sister of Bev, Bob (Ann), Pete (Arlene), Paul (Sharon), Cathy (Terry) Gorman, Colleen (John) Montgomery and John (Jennifer). Fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Anne (Brian) McGregor. Predeceased by her parents Ernie and Lena and by her infant brother Wayne. The family would like to extend their thanks to all the doctors, nurses and staff at the Almonte General Hospital for everything they did for Connie. Friends may pay their respects at the Almonte Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 154 Elgin Street, Almonte, on Tuesday, August 12, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial service will be held at the Cornerstone Community Church on Wednesday, August 13 at 11 a.m. For those who wish, a memorial donation to the Almonte General Hospital would be appreciated.
