Died peacefully in Almonte On. on Sept 16, 2017. Predeceased by her husband John (Jack) Frederick McBain, daughter Heather Ann, brothers Robert, Stirling, William and sister Janet. Survived by sons Ian (Bonnie) Cameron (Janet). Grandchildren Christopher (Lise-Anne) and Matthew (Genna). Special GG to Eilidh, Caelan, Emalea, Tate and Isla. Jessie graduated in 1944 as a registered nurse from The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. She had a successful career in healthcare with Providence Hospital in Moose Jaw SK and with the Ste Anne’s Veterans Hospital in Ste Anne de Bellevue QC. She culminated her career as Executive Assistant to the President with the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario. A private family service will be held.
