Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Almonte General Hospital on October 5, 2012.

In her 90th year.
Was a contented resident of the Millfall Condominiums for the last four years.
Devoted wife to the late David Smith. Proud mother of Bob (Sherryl), Bryan (Jane), the late Rusty (Jennifer). Loving grandmother of Erin (Abdellah), Jennifer (Scott), Andrea (Jason), Alison (Andrew), and Corey (Stephanie). Doting “GG” to Nora, Kenza, Liam, Fiona, Calla, James, Amelia, Cameron, Ellanore and Annabelle. Only daughter to the late Joseph and Barbara Balla. Sister of Nicolas and George. A gathering at Millfall Condominiums will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 1:30pm, with formalities to start at 2:30pm. Reception to follow. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks for the fabulous care that Kay received on the second floor at the Almonte General Hospital, with a special thanks to Dr. McKillop and Dr. “Vincent”. A donation may be made in Kay’s memory to the Hub Hospice Project.
