Lanark County Interval House shares $4500 donation

Lanark County Interval House gratefully accepted a donation of $4,500 from IBM Canada, Scotiabank and the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation. The three organizations contributed to the Kids Are Super Gala, a children’s costume party. The party was held with the dual purpose of providing safe entertainment for neighbourhood children while raising much needed funds for local charities. This year, the gala supported two area shelters, La Maison d’amitié and Lanark County Interval House.

IBM Canada donated $3000 of the total to help LCIH in its work to help women and children across Lanark County escape dangerous and violent relationships.

David Vinette, IBM Canada, Gloria Bae of Royal LePage Performance Realty Brokerage and Wendy Childs of Scotiabank Carleton Place present Heather Whiting, Fundraising Coordinator for Lanark County Interval House with a donation of $4,500.
