The Mills Community Support Corporation would like to thank Mayor John Levi for helping deliver hot Meals on Wheels lunches again this year. Mayor Levi assisted Seniors Services’ Home Support volunteer, Ann Gray, when they stopped in to deliver lunch & enjoy a short visit with participants as part of the annual international “Mayors for Meals” campaign on March 20, 2013.
“Mayors for Meals” was started in order to bring public awareness to all the benefits participants in Meals on Wheels receive. Not only do they receive a hot nutritious meal but a visit from one of the Mills’ volunteers and a safety check as well.
