We’ve had very little rain here for weeks. In fact Mayor McLaughlin shared a post today saying that Eastern Ontario is suffering a ‘severe drought’, according to Agriculture Canada.
Ironically, the weather forecast suggests the only day for the next week or so where heavy rain is likely is Saturday — the peak day for Almonte Celtfest.
But organizers assure us that in the worst case the show will go on, in the Almonte Arena right beside the open-air venue in Gemmill Park.
Whatever the weather does Saturday, come on out to support one of the best Celtic music festivals anywhere in Canada!
Admission price is voluntary… and hey, if it’s raining what else would you be doing anyway?
Come out and support Almonte Celtfest!
