Ottawa Street remains closed at 8:30 Tuesday morning as firefighters continue to battle a blaze at Moose McGuire’s restaurant, between Paterson Street and Industrial Drive.
The fire, which reportedly began at about 4:15 a.m., appears to have largely gutted the structure, which for many years was JR’s Restaurant. There are no reports of injuries at this time.
UPDATE, 11:03 a.m. December 29:
By late morning the restaurant was completely destroyed. Emergency crews remain on the scene and Ottawa Street is still closed at Paterson.
