Arnie Francis lives in Mississippi Mills, Ontario with his teenage son, within walking distance of Almonte’s historic downtown. Arnie was born in Karachi, Pakistan attended grammar school in London, England and pursued post-secondary studies in Hamilton, Ontario and Brandon, Manitoba.
A long-time advocate for persons with disabilities, Arnie volunteers his time in support of his church, the Town, his son’s school and other community projects. He is also currently editing his grandfather’s handwritten memoirs from a century-old manuscript. For more than half of his work-life he has been self-employed, providing consulting services in strategy and governance, after having had a successful management career at a major Crown Corporation.
