Children had fun learning about bicycle safety at the OPP Bicycle Rodeo held at the Almonte arena on Saturday, June 2nd. Cst.Sean Trahan instructs children about proper hand signals and road safety before they ride the course. Members of the Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit ensured that helmets were properly fitted. This successful event, sponsored by the Health Unit and Ministry of Transport’s Road Safety Challenge, was part of the opening weekend for Mississippi Mills Bicycle Month.
