MCINTYRE, Norma
May 14, 1943 – August 1, 2026
It is with heavy hearts we share the passing of Norma McIntyre (née Wallace) of Almonte, Ontario, at the age of 83. She passed peacefully at Queensway Carleton Hospital after a brief illness, and we are confident she is already reunited with her beloved Bert.
She will be missed every day by her daughter, Traci, and son, Ken (Kim). She was devoted to her grandchildren Marin and Rowan Hulford and Maxwell McIntyre and was a beloved sister, sister-in-law, and aunt.
Norma took great pride in her role as a Registered Nurse. While retired for many years, she maintained a tight bond with the friends she made during that career. She treasured those relationships and they provided a strong and supportive network, particularly during the last several years.
In keeping with her “don’t make a fuss” spirit, Norma elected to skip the traditions of visitations and a formal funeral. If so desired, a donation in memory of Norma may be made to the Almonte General Hospital Fairview Manor Foundation or the Breast Cancer Support Fund.
