Our town

Not a photo, but I find this rendering of Almonte, by Alice Hinther and shared by Allan Brown, quite delightful. Says Alice:

I am a multi-media artist living in Ottawa. I grew up in Ottawa and have always loved exploring the small towns and countryside of the Ottawa Valley. I love the history of the area and the historical buildings and wanted to document some of my favourite towns. So far I have painted Westport, Perth, Almonte and The Glebe neighbourhood in Ottawa and hope to paint more as time allows. Each 16 x 20 painting takes over 70 hours to paint, because of the detail. You can see more on my facebook art page Alice Hinther Design and I can be contacted at alicehintherdesign@gmail.com.
